Kinfolk: Blackbox is an alternative shell for Windows or a window manager for Linux, the styles (themes) being interchangeable between the two platforms, something unique in computing. I suggest u read my tutorials, though they are a bit outdated and need some rewriting:

citrusoap: You mean the language icon doesn't show on the bar? What bar are we talking about? BB's original taskbar, or bbleanbar?

Utbox Build 1.5

Utbox is in its fifth (or so) reincarnation, with build 1.5 recently released. New items include:
• usetools control panel a.k.a. "utp" ("alt+win+c" or "main menu>>blackbox>>toggle utp").
• added bbleanskinmod plugin ("utp>>style tab>>toggle bbleanskin"). disabled by default.
• added bbcalendar (click on mainbar clocks).
• added bbpager ("win+w"). MSVC7 runtime dlls required.
• info screen. something like screensaver ("win+h" or "main menu >> blackbox >> toggle info").
• new styles - airlines, mojo and lesya.
• enabled workspaces. experimental.
• renewed icons.
• fixed bug, when some icons on taskbar get shrunk.

BBLeanBar Revisited

Unkamunka did it again, with a new BBLeanBar build. This one he calls BBLeanBar 1.20 and introduces many goodies, including:
• buttons made bi-directional (& differentiation increased)
• all (bar two) hard-coded mouse-clicks made configurable defaults
• available range of mouse-clicks expanded (code also streamlined)
• menu separators - backwards compatible (& buttonPressed style re)introduced
• locking of workspace edges made fully optional
• RC file syntax simplified & Bro@ms menu introduced
• bb icon (& name of bb version) added to WindowLabel
• non-functioning compatibility code removed & other tweaks

A New BBLeanSkin Mod by Unkamunka

Unkamunka presented another of his BBLeanSkin mods. Changes in this build:
• 4 new titlebar clicks:
o MaxHeight
o MaxWidth
o MoveRight (both application and OS sensitive)
o MoveLeft (both application and OS sensitive)
• expanded & enhanced gradient parsing
• bugfixes re Lower & re style-based FontShadows for bbLean family

New BBClean Build by Noccy

Noccy has a new BBClean build out, with a new bbleanskin to go with it. Lots of features here – and, what’s more important, the whole setup is rock steady. Here’s what you get:
* The SplitVertical gradient should now not only work -- it should be fully OpenBox compliant (as for the rendering that is, splitTo is to be implemented)
* Carsomyr's patch added to provide for greater stability on x64 systems.
* Made basic preparations for implementing icon themes from DLL or ICL files in your *box menu (rather than using separate icon files or dlls with icon indexes).
* Preview of bbDesktop included. Add desktop icons to your bbClean experience.

Utbox - A New Blackbox Clone

Utbox is yet another Blackbox for Windows clone, based on BBClean N.E.B.(noccy experimental branch).
The main Utbox idea is to provide extremly fast, tiny and stable shell for Windows with more usability than the standard Explorer shell.
Exclusive utbox features:
* Custom main bar (BBInterface 0.9.9k9c + SystembarEX 2.2beta)
* Other custom made GUI elements (poweroff screen, readme)
* Balanced menu system
* Styles

New in Utbox v1.4:
* main font changed to 'GOST type B'

New BBLeanSkin

Unkamunka presented a new bbleanskin build that is supposed to work with all BB branches.
Changes:
bbLeanSkinMod - StyleMaker update 1.16u (2008-02-11) / unkamunka
- Based on bbLeanSkinMod 1.16m (2006-01-07) by qwilk [based on bbLeanSkin 1.16 (2005-04-27) by grischka]
- Enabled conditional parsing for bbLean code (for greater backwards compatibility)
- Transparency options
- Updated style parsing to support SplitVertical|MirrorHorizontal gradients & FontShadows
- Added support for MinimizeToTray (by nocd5 2007-07-28) & global FontShadows
- Added icons support based on code by zeytok (2006-11-12)
- Converted to 64-bit compatible code base
